Even allowing for your comfort and familiarity with your own home, that makes a pretty strong case.<br /><br />I had another thought about mapping, which I posted in my own comment thread too: While they're marching down corridors, the mapper is probably just pacing off the distance, rather than carefully mapping as s/he goes, and then expends one character-turn updating the map at the next "node."
